  真空甩帶爐在(zai)真(zhen)空條件下利用電(dian)弧(hu)來加熱(re)和(he)(he)熔煉(lian)金(jin)屬的熔煉(lian)方法(fa)。這種(zhong)熔煉(lian)方法(fa)所使用的電(dian)極(ji)有自(zi)(zi)耗電(dian)極(ji)和(he)(he)非自(zi)(zi)耗電(dian)極(ji)兩種(zhong)。

  自(zi)(zi)(zi)(zi)耗(hao)電(dian)(dian)(dian)極(ji)(ji)是由被(bei)熔(rong)煉材(cai)(cai)料(liao)(即爐(lu)料(liao))制(zhi)成,在真空甩帶(dai)爐(lu)的熔(rong)煉過(guo)程中它(ta)(ta)逐漸消(xiao)耗(hao);而非(fei)自(zi)(zi)(zi)(zi)耗(hao)電(dian)(dian)(dian)極(ji)(ji)系利用(yong)(yong)鎢等高熔(rong)點材(cai)(cai)料(liao)制(zhi)成,在爐(lu)料(liao)熔(rong)煉過(guo)程中它(ta)(ta)基本(ben)上不消(xiao)耗(hao)。采用(yong)(yong)自(zi)(zi)(zi)(zi)耗(hao)電(dian)(dian)(dian)極(ji)(ji)的真空電(dian)(dian)(dian)弧爐(lu)稱自(zi)(zi)(zi)(zi)耗(hao)電(dian)(dian)(dian)極(ji)(ji)電(dian)(dian)(dian)弧爐(lu),簡(jian)稱自(zi)(zi)(zi)(zi)耗(hao)爐(lu);采用(yong)(yong)非(fei)自(zi)(zi)(zi)(zi)耗(hao)電(dian)(dian)(dian)極(ji)(ji)的真空電(dian)(dian)(dian)弧爐(lu)稱非(fei)自(zi)(zi)(zi)(zi)耗(hao)電(dian)(dian)(dian)極(ji)(ji)電(dian)(dian)(dian)弧爐(lu),簡(jian)稱非(fei)自(zi)(zi)(zi)(zi)耗(hao)爐(lu)。

  現(xian)在,非自耗電(dian)(dian)極熔(rong)煉已較少使用,而(er)自耗電(dian)(dian)極熔(rong)煉大量應用于生產實踐中,成為(wei)二(er)次(ci)重熔(rong)的(de)主(zhu)要(yao)手段(duan)之一。真(zhen)空電(dian)(dian)弧熔(rong)煉的(de)坩堝(guo)一般(ban)用銅制成,外面用水冷(leng)卻,稱為(wei)水冷(leng)銅結晶(jing)器。

  真空甩(shuai)帶爐熔煉(lian)時,可以(yi)將(jiang)自耗電極(被熔煉(lian)材料)接負極,水(shui)(shui)冷銅(tong)(tong)結晶器接正極,通電后(hou)兩(liang)極間產(chan)生(sheng)弧(hu)(hu)光放(fang)電,將(jiang)電能轉變成熱能,產(chan)生(sheng)高溫(wen)使材料熔化。熔煉(lian)過(guo)程中液態金屬(shu)熔滴通過(guo)高溫(wen)弧(hu)(hu)區后(hou)落入金屬(shu)熔池(chi),并在水(shui)(shui)冷銅(tong)(tong)結晶器內凝固(gu)成錠。通過(guo)金屬(shu)液與氣相間以(yi)及熔池(chi)內發生(sheng)的(de)一系(xi)列(lie)物理化學反應(ying),達到(dao)提高金屬(shu)的(de)純凈度,改善其(qi)結晶組織和(he)性(xing)能的(de)目的(de)。

  雖然真空甩帶爐不受(shou)大氣、耐火材料(liao)和鑄模等(deng)的(de)(de)沾(zhan)污;可以(yi)去(qu)(qu)除鋼(gang)及(ji)合(he)金中的(de)(de)氣體和有害金屬雜質;熔(rong)煉中夾雜物(wu)也可上(shang)浮去(qu)(qu)除一部分,并可改善夾雜物(wu)在合(he)金中的(de)(de)分布及(ji)形態(tai);水(shui)冷銅結晶器中的(de)(de)鋼(gang)錠(ding)鑄態(tai)組(zu)織比普通(tong)鑄錠(ding)為好。

  但真(zhen)空(kong)甩帶爐熔煉需預制電極,且(qie)鋼錠表面(mian)較差。真(zhen)空(kong)電弧熔煉可(ke)用(yong)來熔煉鈦、鋯、鎢、鉬等活(huo)潑金(jin)屬、難熔金(jin)屬以及(ji)它們的(de)合(he)(he)金(jin),也可(ke)用(yong)來熔煉高溫(wen)合(he)(he)金(jin)及(ji)有特(te)殊(shu)用(yong)途(tu)的(de)鋼和合(he)(he)金(jin)。
